Andrew Matheson is Vice Chair of Midland Potters Association. He was Chair from 2009 to 2020. Andrew is a member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) and has work in both public and private collections. He graduated from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. Andrew owns a unique city centre pottery studio and gallery, nestled among the historic streets of Lichfield. Visitors can enjoy watching classic skills of pottery production using locally sourced materials. Andrew specialises in stoneware and porcelain pieces hand-thrown with a variety of distinctive glazes. Individual commissions are also welcomed.
